Prentice Portadown Alloy Clinic is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Alloy Wheel Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career within the automotive repair industry.

No previous alloy wheel refurbishment experience is required, as full in-house training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and pride in producing high-quality work.

What You'll Learn

As a Trainee Alloy Wheel Technician, you will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of alloy wheel refurbishment, including:

• Alloy wheel preparation and repair

• Cosmetic refurbishment techniques

• Diamond cutting and wheel finishing processes

• Painting and colour matching

• Quality control and inspection

• Safe use of specialist equipment and tools

• Workshop best practices and health & safety procedures

This is a skilled trade that offers excellent career prospects, enabling you to develop specialist knowledge and practical experience in alloy wheel refurbishment.

In addition to our alloy wheel business, we also operate a busy Smart Repair Centre. Candidates with an interest in expanding their skills will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge in vehicle body SMART repairs, opening the door to further career progression within our business.

What We're Looking For

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Good attention to detail

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• An interest in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential

• Full UK driving licence preferred

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday:

  8:00am – 5:00pm

• Friday:

  8:00am – 4:00pm

Overtime opportunities are available.
